I need to know how to say something in latin?

I would like to know how to say "Where there's life there's hope" in Latin, it's for a tattoo so please be serious and make sure you're accurate with what you're telling me =)

Donec vita spes = As long as (there is) life, (there is) hope.

Omitting forms of 'to be' was typical in Latin, and that's almost always the case in mottos. That makes a more compact statement.

If you want to include the verbs: Donec vita est spes est.
