Anyone know the Advantage and Disadvantage of the Rebranding????

Why, How, and What is the rebranding???

Any website has talk about the Rebranding???

    Usually Rebranding is done to modify the brand image of a product to change the perception of a product either to be perceived better or in tune with a new branding strategy.

    "Oil of Olay" changed to "Olay" simply because any oil had become a universal symbol of bad face creams and such. Another example is how "Taco Bell" changed their perception from "cheap Mexican food" to "get away from Burgers".

    In both cases, the product remained the same, but the rebranding intended to modify its image for customers might be getting image-conscious.
