I'm not sure why you're asking. Hopefully, it's just curiosity. It's not a bad question. It's kind of an interesting question. Most major cities out west and upper New England have relatively low black populations. I think the best examples would be the following I'll mention though. It depends on what you consider a ''city.'' In other words, what's the minimum amount of people? Some examples of major cities could be Brownsville, TX, which has 140,000 (0.4%), Laredo, TX, which has 217,000 (0.5%), Honolulu, Hawaii, which has 372,000 (1.6%), Boise, Idaho, which has 185,000 (0.8%), Bismark, North Dakota, which has 63,000 (0.3%), Anchorage, Alaska, which has 280,000 (5.8%), San Diego, California, which has 1.25 million (7.6%), Scranton, PA, which has 76,000 (3.0%), Salt Lake City, Utah, which has 189,000 (1.9%), Phoenix, Arizona, which has 1.3 million (6%), Reno, Nevada, which has 215,000 (2.6%), Albuquerque, New Mexico with 518,000 (3.1%), Portland, Maine, which has 63,000 (2.6% - some of which is Somalian immigrants), Nashua, New Hampshire, which has 86,000 (2%).

For the sake of the the signficance of populations, I'll only count places with populations of at least 150,000. I'll break down the six lowest all of which I've listed, in order, from lowest to highest below:

    1) Laredo, TX

    2) Boise, Idaho

    3) Honolulu, Hawaii

    4) Salt Lake City, Utah

    5) Reno, Nevada

    6) Albuquerque, New Mexico

I'm sure there are other cities too, but they may not come to mind, because the population's are relatively low. The reasoning for the demography of many of these western cities can be complicated, if you don't understand the historical context, but it shouldn't require too thorough of knowledge. The reason why Northeastern, Mid-Atlantic and Mid-Western cities have higher black populations, is because in the early part of the twentieth century, African-American's from the south migrated to various cities and semi-cities in jobs related to industrialization. Industrialization, especially factories, during this time in America, were not as thriving out west. They would have experienced more discrimination going out west, because many white southerner's moved out there to and had say in the social aspects of the society. Some white southerner's migrated north too, for the same reasons as blacks, for work and a fresh start, but they didn't have influence and would likely been much less bigoted, if at all, if they moved north.

DO NOT move to Tulsa Ok. Its a crime ridden city of violet black gangs no regard for life. We have numerous murders of innocent white people by black thugs and you never hear on national news. Good white people of Tulsa never raise hell, loot, destroy, and let the justice system work. Tulsa's somewhat small nice city or was but over run by out of control black violet youth that will kill over a remote control, or cell phone and police can't do a thing about. Is a scary city!

we've not got the top-hand. we would desire to have some hook ups, yet relatively, you comprehend white people will continuously have a some distance better benefit. i'm no longer asserting that they are above us in any way, yet it is only the way issues are. and that i'd desire to enable you comprehend are non black and unsuccessful, you're needless to say a splash jealous of a few useful African people. We nevertheless would desire to artwork our butts off to make a residing. they do no longer only hand issues to us reason we are black, in specific situations i think of they do away with from us reason we are black. there's a distinction between having a splash "hook ups" in society (which we actual deserve) and having an top hand.

when a police officer ask you for your ID don't act stupid you can't fix Stupid. I'm just tired that the whites don't stand there ground when three blacks beat a 88 yr old man to death and know one cares he fought for you and the blacks so we could be free. I'm fed up with the black verses whites on police problems if a office tells you to get __________car its so simple.
