I've just downloaded Mozilla Firefox today.. And I downloaded the Video Download Helper add-on. From what I understand, it's supposed to help you save thing like YouTube more

1. When you install Video Download Helper it will place an icon on the toolbar for you. Normally it is de-activated (grayed out) like this:

2. When you go to Youtube and are watching a video (it has to be playing), or another site that Video Download Helper supports, the icon will become coloured and it will animate:

3. When you see this, you can click on the icon and select the file you want to download:

4. You can save it to your computer. You will need to rename the file to mp4 (from flv), get a converter, or a stand alone flv player (VLC Media player is fantastic).

Hope this helps :)

    Mozilla Firefox >>> Add-ons >>> Download Helper

    1. Open your YouTube video, and run it.

    2. Soon afterwards, by default 3 balls (next to address bar) will start to circulate.

    3. Press it and choose, HQ (High Quality) or FLV.

    4. Click, Download

    You can also use these sites to download videos from YouTube, ; ; ;

    1. Copy the URL of YouTube video and put into online downloader.

    2. Click on HQ or FLV and download.
