大家好,我今天要講的是地震,當地震發生,我們會覺得全世界都在搖晃,他會造成很大的破壞,使很多人傷亡,還會讓很多人無家可歸,若我們能夠事先預測地震的發生,就可以使傷害降到最低,所以我要跟大家分享一些預測地震的方法,雖然這些方法並無法精確的預測地震的發生,而且有些預測到的地震可能根本不會發生,但事先的預防工作原本就應該做好,只是有著警決心而已,就算真的沒發生,那也不會損失多大,但如果真的發生了,那不就能避免傷亡了嗎?

接下來我就開始介紹一些預測地震的例子和方法:

1.地下水位觀測:在地震發生前,因為岩層的變動,會擠壓到地下水,使地下水上升或者下降,所以可以藉由觀察地下水位的變動來觀察。

2.井水含氡量:的變化氡是一種放射性氣體,科學家們認為當岩石受到強大壓力時,岩石內部產生無數微小裂隙,通常只有用顯微鏡才看得見。岩石有了裂隙之後,曝露於地下水的表面積自然也會增加,當地下水滲入裂隙之中,補滿裂開的空隙,可以接觸到較多的放射性物質,同時吸收更多量的氡。直到地震發生,岩石突然崩裂,氡的含量又逐漸下降。因此,監測井水含氡量,可以知道岩石受力情形,從而預測地震。

3.測地法(geodesic method):根據過去許多紀錄,在大地震發生時地殼會發生變動,而有時會發生在地震之前,因此測量地殼變動情形並研判地震前兆現象,可以預測將否有大地震發生。

4.”壓力預測”:(stress-forecasting,以示與傳統方法相區別),它利用了一種稱作橫波分裂(shear-wave splitting)的現象,即橫波在穿越巖層時分裂成兩部分,它們平行振動,並與微觀裂縫相垂直。這兩部分以不同的速度穿越巖層,所以到達偵測器的時間也不同。

研究人員表示,這些微觀裂縫的排列反映了地殼內的壓力量,壓力越大,排列的裂縫越多,兩種波到達偵測器的時間差也就越大。
