April 3, 2009 (Computerworld) President Barack Obama has so far reversed a number of actions taken by President George W. Bush -- on embryonic stem cell research, species protection and medical research -- but his administration has so far shown no interest in reversing a Bush-approved rule that has drawn the ire of H-1B opponents.

The Bush administration's move to increase the amount of time foreign nationals with engineering, science and other technical degrees can work in the U.S. on student visas from one year to 29 months prompted a lawsuit that was filed last May by the Programmers Guild, the American Engineering Association Inc., Bright Future Jobs, and a number of technology workers.

Isn't it great, that he's keeping his promises?

Because he is apparently in the pocket of big business. As an IT worker I can speak for the bogus h1 and l1 guest worker programs. They are a lie and a scam to replace American workers with cheap foreign labor and drive down American wages and prosperity.

I voted for Obama as he seemed to understand how the "American ruling class" was destroying prosperity for working Americans. President Obama has done nothing so far to turn around the bogus guest worker programs in a time of record unemployment. If there was ever a time to address the guest worker scams and get Americans back to work, the time is now.

There are important national security, economic, and environmental issues to discuss. The dinner will not be on Thanksgiving, and this is not a "depression year." "The two leaders will discuss a range of global, regional and bilateral issues, the White House said. Those discussions are likely to center on Afghanistan, climate change and nuclear energy cooperation. Singh has been quoted as saying that a Taliban victory in Afghanistan would be disastrous for Central and South Asia."

Because he is a globalist. With Obama, America doesn't come first.

To demonstrate he's obviously not a socialist.

We wouldn't do such a thing.

Because he would rather look good than do what is right.
