In most states, carring a firearm in your car, loaded or unloaded, in plain view with the ammo separated still constitutes carrying a "concealed" firearm without a license. Every criminal would say he's going to the firing range. Apply for a permit, do whatever hoops you got to jump through to get one. I carry alsmost everywhere. It's better to have your gun and not need it, then to need it and not have it!!! The first ammendment is our freedom of speech, and the second ammendment is your right to carry. However, anyone with a gun in his or her hand has the right to say whatever he/she wants especially at 3am in South Philly, otherwise I would of been mugged when I was approached that night. You should of saw the look on their faces, priceless.
