Is Leonardo Di Caprio Romeo and Juliet a true tragedy?

Okay so I'm writing an essay explaining why William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is or is not a true example of tragic form. So my question is do you think that Leonardo di Caprio Romeo and Juliet a true tragedy, what five elements of a tragedy are or aren't in the 1990's movie version.

P.s- I writing that the movie is a true tragedy because I already found 5 tragic elements in the Leonardo Di Caprio verson so far, I just want to know what you think.

Leonardo DiCaprio IS the true tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. As for tragic elements, it basically has all those found in Shakespeare's original. Isn't it almost word-for-word the same?
