what is in-plane and out of plane bending?
pls give me reference for in-plane and out of plane bending where its is well explained. Thanks in advance.

Lay a piece of perfectly straight wire down on a table top. The table top is a plane.
Now bend the wire side ways keeping it flat against the table top. That is in plane bending.
Do the same thing with a second piece of wire only pull the wire straight up from the table top. That is out of plane bending.
This would also hold true if the plane was a wall in your room. Bend the wire while holding it flat to the wall and that would also be in plane bending.
