in what way is the united states obligated to provide resources(money) to nicaragua?

president daniel ortega feels it is our obligation to do so. can someone please tell me why?

    That's priceless. Ortega has made a career of yapping about how terrible the US is, and now he wants our money. On the other hand, that makes him like pretty much every other leader in every p*ssant country in the world. They hate us until there's a famine, an earthquake, or someone invades them, and then all of a sudden we're their best friends.
