Stock market terminology: ADR and Common Stock?
Hey whats the difference between ADR and Common Stock?
I was just on bloomberg looking at some prices and i saw these terms. easy "economics for dummy" definitions will be much a appreciated...."big purple dinosaur" it for me please :)

An ADR is a American Depository Receipt. Its represents a share of a foreign company denominated in US currency.

This means learning how it works, learning how to read charts and learning how you can make accurate predictions. All these are not that difficult but it takes some time. If you treat it as gambling and just make random predictions then you will obviously not win.
