"For example, my son’s father passed away during my pregnancy a few years ago. According to the bible, technically, my son and his father will never meet each other. In Heaven, there is no remembrance of the earth or anything from it. Do you know how that makes me feel?" I'm sorry but I must differ here. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that your son will never meet this father, it says the opposite, it says he WILL meet his father, it also says that physically disabled people will be completely restored. But to answer your question: If ignorance is bliss then fantastic, I'll continue to stay in my bliss. But seriously now, even the Bible says, "There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death." "Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide, and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter by it" (Proverbs 16:25, Matthew 7:13-14). What does this mean? It means it is way easier to do all the wrong things now for instant gratification, but then you will suffer heavy consequences - (think if serial killers who are caught and spend the rest of their natural lives in jail); and it is way harder to do what you know is right and suffer scorn and persecution and being mocked for it - by those who have no understanding of why you can actually choose to live a better life and quit knocking your own head on a brick wall all the time. I get mocked and insulted, but you know what, I just don't care, because what I suffer is nothing compared to what God suffers whenever He sees this and other worse things too, (caused by satan). I said it before and I say it again, "God pleeeeez, just give me 15 minutes with satan, and I don't care if I die in the fight, so long as I can die with a smile on my face (after getting in a few swipes in first)". I've yet to meet someone who detests satan as much as I do. In fact even the angels are too kind - If I'm not mistaken, it was either Gabrielle or Michael who gently told satan, "Get thee behind me". I can assure you if it were me I wouldn't stop to ask nicely like that, I'd just turn around and lop his whole head straight of with my sword. Praise be to God, the King of kings!
