Were any of Princess Alice of Battenburg's Children Deaf?

Princess Alice of Battenburg was born deaf. Did she pass the trait on to any of her 5 children? And if you have any other interesting information on Princess Alice I would love to hear it. Thank you!

I can't find a diagnosis of her hearing disease. I don't kow if it could be passed on to her children.

    --------

Alice married in 1903 and became Princess Andrew of Greece and Denmark. Since she was already married for 14 years when the Battenberg family anglized there name to Mountbatten, she technically did not have a surname to change.

    ----------

When her son Philip was going to marry Princess Elizabeth he renounced his titles and had to adopt a surname. He chose the anglicized surname used by his maternal grandfather, Mountbatten. He really didn't have much of a choice since no one in his paternal family line had a surname for at least 17 generations:

    ---------

    G - Father , Title

    0 - Philip , Duke of Edinburgh

1 - Andrew , Prince of Greece and Denmark

    2 - George I , King of Greece from 1863

3 - Christian IX , King of Denmark

    4 - Friedrich Wilhelm , Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg

    5 - Friedrich Ludwig , Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck

    6 - Karl Anton , Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck

    7 - Peter August , Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck

    8 - Frederick Louis , Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck

    9 - August Philipp , Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck

    10 - Alexander , Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg

    11 - John II , Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg

12 - Christian III , King of Denmark

    13 - Frederick I , King of Denmark

    14 - Christian I , King of Denmark

    15 - Dietrich , Count of Oldenburg

    16 - Christian V , Count of Oldenburg

    17 - Conrad I , Count of Oldenburg
