If my gpa is 3.43 and I get A's during my next term(6 credits) would that be enough to bring my gpa to 3.5?

It depends on the number of credits you have previously completed, in order to calculate the weighted average.

The calculation isn't hard to do. Just calculate the weighted average of the 3.43 GPA and the 3.5 GPA. Use the total number of credits which you will earn by the end of the "next term" as the total weight. Then, multiply the proportionate weights by the 3.43 and 3.5. For example, if you've completed 16 credits by the end of the "next term", then multiply (10/16) by 3.43 and (6/16) by 3.5. Hope this helps.
