How do I upload files with WGET?

I know how to use WGET to download files from an FTP server.

However, I want to use WGET in my batch files to upload files to my friends server, e.g. a text files or *.PNG.

How can I do this, and can you please provide example code (e.g. in a batch file?)

Not possible to transfer a file from one FTP server to another without downloading first, UNLESS you have shell access to either system.

You would need SSH access to the destination webserver and would use a Linux command such as WGET. If this is a hosted webserver and not run by yourself, then it is like you will not have SSH access. edit - it's interesting that someone gave this answer a thumbs down - yet they failed to post their own answer....
