Shepaeo asked in PetsDogs · 1 decade ago

Do you think Aeo would be a good name for a german shepherd dog?

It would be pronounced [Ay-O] or [ā-ō]. I just want an opinion. thanks

I've always tried to give my dogs a name associated with the country of origin of the species. For instance, I had an Australian Cattle Dog that I named Foster (for the beer). Some possible names for your German Shepherd could be Otto, Werner, Adolf, Gert, etc. Don't know about Aeo. Seems a bit shaky.

I like it. But the true test is to try it out by going outside and yelling it like you would if calling your dog. Also, try it along with some common commands like Aeo sit, Aeo Stand, Aeo quit eating my socks LOL.

If if flows nicely and you don't get tongue tied trying to say it. Or it sounds like something obcene (if you care). Then It is a good name.

I think thats a silly name. Its easy to misspell and its just not a good choice. You can do better.

Not bad, the odg would get it, but I think it would roll off the tongue easier if it had a constanant.
