For me, it honestly depends on the commercial. I lose a teeny bit of respect for bands who allow their songs to be used for, say, a beer commercial, but if it's a commercial for yogurt or something, that's a little bit different. In the end though, it makes no difference to me. I'll keep on listening to the song just like before.
I try my best to not let things like having my favorite songs played on the radio, a commercial, or in a television program affect me. I feel like if I avoid a song because it's supposedly become "commercialized," I'm just as bad as people who only listen to Top 40 songs, because I'm letting its popularity influence how I feel about the song, which really shouldn't ever matter.
MQ: I heard "Energy" by The Apples in Stereo played on a Pepsi commercial on New Years Eve. That was pretty cool, actually.
MQ2: I live in Los Angeles. Metallica, The Beach Boys, and Bad Religion are all from here.
BQ: I just changed into my pajamas! It's a class t-shirt from like, 6th grade, which somehow I still fit into, and some cotton shorts.
BQ2: There isn't much weather going on here, haha.
