There's no particular city famous for golf courses as golf courses tend to be outside of cities.

But there are hundreds of golf courses across Scotland.

    among the most famous are:-

St Andrews...in the town of St Andrews, which is near Dundee (not Aberdeen as the above answerer thinks)

Turnberry...which is sort of near Prestwick

Muirfield...in East Lothian...north east of Edinburgh

Royal Troon.....on the west coast near Ayr

    Carnoustie.....east coast...north east of Dundee

Bonnie Dundee - We've got Downfield, Camperdown, Cairdy & the Swanny ponds putting green. St Andrews & Carnoustie are also within 15 miles.

ok......I stay in long island. so which you would be able to already wager why my city is mythical for. Statue of Liberty. twin Towers(was) they're making a clean tower referred to as the liberty Tower(In 2009,its going to be the main important development in the United Sates) the sport,Grand theft vehicle 4 would be consistent with long island. and that they are probably extra issues.

I would say St.Andrews or Troon, but neither of them are cities, they are just towns.

    Aberdeen for St.Andrews golf course.

Edit, St.Andrews is a small town of 16.000 inhabitants where St.Andrews golf course is located. As the answerer below me stated.
