How can you add length to bamboo roll ups?

Question

I got a great deal on bamboo roll up blinds, but one is about 4 inches too short. Has anyone ever added length to one? How did you do it? I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks

Im glad you got a good deal, because now you will need to either invest in a decorative treatment, or buy another one about four inches longer.

Adding legnth is just not an option there are strings attached and alot of weight pulling on them you would have to restring the entire shade.

Based on your original good taste in bamboo roll up blinds, which are really great looking, this will require a little creativitiy on your part:

Design a window heading on a wide curtain rod to cover the top of the window and outside of the frame of the window, then drop the heading of the shade four inches below this mounted on a board and brackets

Try Calico Corners for fabric and trim and kirsch hardware, if you plan it out it will look really great!
