We are told to pray without ceasing. When we do that we are more in touch with those around us, because we pray for them. There is no reason that anything should happen to you. Many, many people pray on and off throughout the day. I'm one of them... When I walk into a classroom, when I'm helping students, when I visit the sick, when someone calls with a problem, they all become part of my prayers each day. There is no such thing as praying too much.

Jesus said "Behold the (somebodies) for they think they will be heard for there repetions, then He said, I say to you that they shall not.

He was talking about the Pharisees and the mumbling of many prayers that are pointless and have no heart.

He also said, when you pray to the Father , go to the closet and shut the door, cause The Father hears everything, don't be all boastful and think that by many and loud words that a prayer will be heard better, it won't.

You can check that at blue-letter bible \dot/com or whatever is your favorite.

I don't think you can pray too much. And if it were, it would all depend on the person and the situation.

You need to define 'too much' -- is this a moral, psychological, or 'punching the clock :) ' definition ?

I mean, St Paul and Jesus said

    "...Pray without ceasing"1 Thess 5:17

So what is more than 'without ceasing' !!!!
