Ummmm, since when has Obama been bipartisan? If you mean has he given up any of his core beliefs to come to an agreement with Republicans, no he hasn't and he won't but you can sure as hell bet he believes Republicans should give up their core beliefs and sit down, shut up, and go along with whatever he wants. That's what bipartisanship is to any Democrat. There is no such thing as bipartisanship. That's a word Democrats came up with to make the public think Republicans are obstructionists and they began using it when Republicans had control of the House and Senate. Now they use it so that some Republicans will bow down and sign on to their expansion of government and when the stuff hits the fan, they won't have to take all the blame. They will be able to point their fingers at "moderate Republicans" which are Republican in name only and say it was a bipartisan process. Those days are over, beginning with the mid term elections in 2010. Count on it.
By the way, by definition Democrats and Republicans are in opposite corners. To come together in agreement based on party ideology is not possible for one side in the debate unless that side gives up their position.
