will只能和be able to放在一起嗎？

can 和 be able to 的差別

can 是助動詞

be able to / 的 able 是形容詞，所以必需和be動詞在一起。

be able be 可以和所有助動詞一起用，不定是 will

因助動詞，和助動詞不可一起用，所以助動詞後面的 "可以" 一定要用 be able to

例如 :

I will can skate in a month. X

I will be able to skate in a month. O

I should can swim for one hour. X

I should be able to swim for one hour. O

I might be able to go home at 6 : 00. X

I must be able to pass the test. O

You had better be able to do this.

一個完整的句子只能有一個助動詞喔

順帶一提

像can 跟 be able to一樣可以互換的助動詞有:

should= ought to +R.V

例:Students should study hard. = Students ought to study hard.

must = have to+R.V

例:We must be a helpful person.(語氣較強烈)= We have to be a

helpful person(語氣較婉轉)

will 則可以替換成be going to 或是shall

shall多用在第1人稱,未來簡單式

例: I shall die no matter what things happen to me.

不過can和be able to都是一樣的意思→能
