what's the difference between a swirl and a curl?

just wondering. :P

    A swirl can be represented by a spiral line.

    A curl can be represented by a line drawn in a haft circle.

    There is not much difference except the swirl is more curly, lol. The curl continues to form the sense of swirl in a spiral.

    Perhaps, a swirl has the potencial to express a greater sense of motion. Where the sense of motion created by

    a curl can be limited in comparison to swirl.
