A swirl can be represented by a spiral line.
A curl can be represented by a line drawn in a haft circle.
There is not much difference except the swirl is more curly, lol. The curl continues to form the sense of swirl in a spiral.
Perhaps, a swirl has the potencial to express a greater sense of motion. Where the sense of motion created by
a curl can be limited in comparison to swirl.
