British Colonization of North America?

I have a test this week and we are supposed to discuss in detail the British Colonization in America. Can anyone please help explain this and the events that took place?

Your question is a bit vague. Do you actually mean North America or just America (the United States)?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_colonization_...

If you look at that URL, it will take you to wikipedia's page concerning British colonization of the America's (Including the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean)

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colonial_history_of_t...

If you look at this page you will find the colonial history of the United States (scroll down the page about 1/3 of the way and start reading where it mentions Jamestown)

The British didn't colonize Mexico, just the parts of North America that are modern day USA and Canada.
