Can you change file names en masse in Windows?
Note, I actually know how to do this in command line DOS using the rename command and * wildcard. But surely there's an easy way to do this in Windows?
Wondering if there is some way in Windows to take a directory full of files, and change their files names in some consistent way all at once? Example, you get back from a trip to Disneyland with a hundred photos; the camera gave them numeric filenames like 01025.jpg. You want to add a prefix so all the files are named like Disneyland_01025.jpg. How to do this if not one at a time (I realize some of the camera software does this but mine doesn't).

I use that. It is a batch renamer called RenameMaster.

What's wrong with a batch file, then?
