What would be the escape speed of a 1 solar mass object with a radius of about 3 km?

Answer in km/second.

    298,300 km/s

    Using mass of 2*10^30 kg

    dump used a mass of 1.979*10^30

    using Wikipedia's mass, 1.989*10^30 297,460 km/s

    EDIT: The Wikipedia article on "solar mass" give a conventionally accepted value that would lead to an escape velocity of 297,450 km/s
