How do i file for unemployment?

If you have been laid off from your job you may be able to file for unemployment online without visiting an unemployment office. In California you may file online or at a local EDD office. If you file online, you probably should use Explorer. California has experienced problems with other browsers.

Go to your local employment office or in some states you can file online.

go to your local unemployment office just bring in all your records and place you worked and they will go over it with you . then they will set you up to sign up on computer
