The United States Postal Service is abbreviated USPS and they deliver mail on Saturdays. UPS is not owned by USPS, and is a private, for profit shipping company that only delivers packages on Saturdays when the person shipping the packages pays more for fast delivery or weekend delivery. If a package is sent standard rate by USPS it could be delivered on a Saturday. If a package is sent standard rate by UPS it would not be delivered on a Saturday. Neither USPS nor UPS deliver on Sundays.

UPS and FedEX will deliver on the weekends if you pay the rate for a weekend delivery. Go to their website and check it out.
