1. Do you have a college degree already? If so, you'll only be required to take any prerequisite courses you did not get in your BS degree.
2. If you are starting from scratch, there are two pathways you can choose as Mary mentions above.
3. Although the 3/3 program sounds like it might save you money, consider that most of these programs are housed at very expensive private schools that often cost up to $30,000 a year. A state school is still often under $12,000 a year.
4. It will also depend on how long it takes you to complete your undergraduate degree. Although you pay per credit hour, you must also consider the cost of living.
At the very "cheap" end of things, a physical therapist education from scratch can cost $60-$84,000....not including living expenses.
Going to a private school, it can be very easy to spend upwards of $160,000
