Book Series for Teen Girl?

Okay, I really like reading but things like Jane Austen and Nicholas Sparks bore me. I like books that have to do with romance and high school. Books that are take place in reality. Things like that. I don't like fantasy books(the only one I've ever gotten into was Twilight).

A few of the books series I've read are:

-Gossip Girl

-Pretty Little Liars

-The It Girl

-Summer Boys

-The Clique

-The Dating Game

That's just a few. But I definitely prefer a series. When answering all you have to do is giving the name of the series and which of the book series I've listed is similar. I am not that lazy and can google the rest. Please don't be smart and say go to your library and ask because a 50-year-old woman doesn't exactly understand my taste in books. Thank you!

Source(s): Some of the series I've suggested, the title is not the title of the series, it just continues on so you would have to find the next book. Luxe is the series, I just can't remember the first book in the series.

Okay there's a lot of teen chick lit out there but here are a few that I like that are pretty good:

Confessions Of A Not It Girl by Melissa Kantor

What My Mother Doesn't Know by Sonya Sones

The Blue Bloods series by Melissa de La Cruz, which is Twilight-esque in the sense that it's about vampires but I think it's better than Twilight and...

well that's all that comes to mind.

    Hope this helps! :)

    Some good books are:

    It's a trilogy.

You've basically read all of my favorite books except those.

"Uglies is the first book of the trilogy. The second book is Pretties and the third is Specials. It's about a world in which everyone has an operation when they turn sixteen, making them supermodel beautiful. Big eyes, full lips, no one fat or skinny. This seems like a good thing, but it's not. Especially if you're one of the uglies, a bunch of radical teens who've decided they want to keep their own faces."

Also try, "The Host" by Stephenie Meyer. Information about the book can be found under sources.

You read almost the exact same books as me, (anything with high school romance). I HIGHLY suggest anything written by Sarah Dessen. She is an awesome author and her books are always real. Check her out you'll love her. The latest book I read by her was "The truth about forever" and it was really good. Hope that helps :)
