Help with a World War 2 project?

My daughter has to do a ABC book on WWII. Can anyone help with the letters E,K,Q,R,U,V,W,X,Y,Z? Each letter must have something to do with World War 2. Ex: a=atomic bomb or c=concentration camps.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I need help with the letters B,D,F,G, and O. She had a few ideas. I just wanted a little more input.

Thank you to everyone for all of your responses. The serious ones were very helpful.
