A cow at a new gate

you look like a cow looking at a new gate

    >> a look of lost bewilderment(一臉茫然的樣子)

    e.g.

    1. Jack: What are you looking at over there Jill? You just keep popping your head up over your cubicle staring into space..

    Jill: huh?

Jack: You look like a cow looking at a new gate.

    2. Using secured credit cards to establish or rebuild your credit can be a real drag sometimes. There's not a single financial institution in your area that has anything remotely like a secured credit card. Or even worse, you try to explain it to them and they look at you like a cow looking at a new gate(一臉茫然的樣子). Now you don't have to look any further for secured credit cards.

    這句話應該是個俚語。我在網路上查了一下,只查到一個相近的用語:

You look like a cow looking at a new gate. 意思是形容一個人看起來很迷惘的樣子。

    希望這個解答對你有幫助!
