Is there an html property that controls how close to the top of a page the first line of text can be?

I am working on a web page, and have found that the first line of text is not as close to the top of the page as I would like for it to be. Is there something I can use in the code to start my text closer to the top of my page?

    Sort of. You can do this with CSS. Try adding this to the body tag:

    <body style="margin-top: 10px;">

    Of course, replace 10 with whatever number you want until you get the position you want.

    try this code

    <html>

    <body>

    <input type="button" value="button"

    style="position:absolute;left:0px;top:0px;z-index:1">

    <p style="position:absolute;

    left:100px;

    top:0px;

    z-index:1">

    my text goes here

    </p>

    </body>

    </html>
