I start with doing 10% and then doubling it. 14 is 10% so 28 would be 20%. 140 minus 28 is $112.
Final price= 112
It's 28 off, so 112. You take 140 times .20
A quick tip my mom taught me if you're ever in a store and need to figure out a price of something on sale is to take 2 times the the tens digit or the hundred and the tens digit and subtract that from the total price. (If your percent is 60, then take six times the price)
So if you had a $70 item at 40% off, take 4 times 7, which equal 28, and subtract that from $70.
Hopefully that makes some sense. :)
$112 would be the price I think that is it but not 4sure.
it will be 28 dollars off so the total will be 112 dollars plus tax i hope you can get it sounds like you really want it. good luck! oh and by the way you are not stupid because a lot of people don't remember how to do percentages
10% of 140 is 14 so
20% of 140 is 28.
.20 x 140 = 28
so you'd pay $112
If you like it .. just get it !!!!! Don't regret it :)
it will be like $112
Hotdog with sauerkraut!
Wienerwurst with cheese.
Give me a squirt of mustard
ketchup if you please
these are the sausages that i like
put em on a bun
eat em plain to if ya want
now we're having fun
Sometimes ill eat hamburgers instead of that long treat
but when times get tought you know, weeners cant be beat
weisswurst, bratwurst, knackwurst too
pickles and tomatoes
serve a side of rye bread
and salad of potatoes!
.20 X 140= 28
so the bathing suit is now 112
1. 140 * .2
I think its112 dollars...
So, 140-28= $112
$28 off ... New price - $112
140 X .20= $28
28 is 20% of 140
You multiply .2x140
then subtract that from 140

20 percent of 140 = 28 thats what i got!
$28, as 10% is 14. times it by two then you get your discount :) So the new price would be $112
28.00 off do ten percent times 2
Do the math
What ever you get minus it from 140 and that is your new price
140 X 0.2 = 28.
multiply 140 by .2 and subtract that answer from 140.
Do .8 times 140, this will give you the dollar amount that the bathing suit will cost you.
Hope this helps :)
