Lady Macbeth had a huge influence on Macbeth's decisions. If it wasn't for her, Macbeth would hide in a corner and wait for someone else to kill Duncan. She provides Macbeth with real, do-able ways of fulfilling the witches' prophesies.

Quotes supporting this: "But screw your courage to the sticking place, and we'll not fail."

"O proper stuff! This is the very painting of your fear...You look but on a stool."

"Come, you spirits that tend on mortal thoughts, unsex me here..."

Lady Macbeth’s influence as a guide in Macbeth’s life is clearer than that of the witches: when Macbeth does some ruminating on killing Duncan and decides, "We’ll go no further in this business," the Lady convinces him in about 50 lines that the King must be killed.

She challenges his manhood, she is the leading motivation until Macbeth becomes tyrannical, in which the character roles flip-flop between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth.
