Forget the famous folks.  Go to Westwood Cemetery (in Oberlin, not far from Cleveland) and research those folks and families.

People put WAY too much clout into the "famous."  It is and was the every day people that made and continue to make this world.

Garrett Morgan did not invent the stoplight.  Another myth.  He improved upon it by creating the ability to operate it from a further distance, but he did not invent it, did not receive the first patent for it, and the standard stoplight used today is not his design.
