Has anyone travelled to Malta?

Has anyone been to Malta? My fiance and I are planning on going to Malta for our honeymoon since that's where his parents came from....we're interested in pretty much everything but would like to have some recommendations on places to visit during our trip! Restaurants + specific dishes, places to stay, beaches, sight seeing, shopping. :)

Malta is small so you will manage to go everywhere! If you like history and culture, there are a lot of museums and heritage sites which would interest you. Check You must go to Gozo, Malta's sister island and also Comino, a small island in between, where you can visit Blue Lagoon. If you're coming in Summer, you would enjoy the nice weather and the sunny beaches all over the islands. The best are Mellieha (Ghadira) Bay, Golden Bay and Ghajn Tuffieha and Ramla Bay in Gozo.

I suggest you find a hotel in Sliema or St. Julians. There are a wide variety of restaurants and shops there with nice views. Paceville, which is famous for nightlife, is very close and you can go there by walk. Some suggestions regarding hotels:

Regarding transport, public transport is cheap (47 euro cent per trip) and it takes you wherever you want to go. Trips are short due to small distances.

Congratulations on your wedding and enjoy your holiday!

As Malta is a member of the ecu Union as France is, I´m useful you don´t choose a visa to return and forth to Malta. whether, I recommend you examine the subject with a return and forth organisation to be incredibly useful. Have a staggering stay in Malta, it´s a captivating place (visited Malta final 365 days) and the human beings there are incredibly friendly.
