Good restaurant for valentine's day in Houston, TX?

i'm new to houston, so, i'm looking for something moderately priced and either american or Italian cuisine, or a steakhouse. Surrounding area is ok as well

Update:

melting pot is $160 per couple.... this does not qualify it as moderately priced! haha

Carmelo's on Memorial near Diary-Ashford is great. Also, Perry's Steakhouses are reasonable priced. Although it's Mexican and not American, Las Alamedas has great traditional Mexican food in a VERY romantic restuarant on beautiful grounds at very good prices. It's located at I-10 at Voss Exit.

Here are the websites so that you can get directions from where you live since you've not been in Houston long:

I would say Melting Pot, but at this point and time, they are likely booked to the walls.

I like Timpano Chophouse downtown at the corner of Main and Texas... it fits your desire for steakhouse and italian at the same time. Not overly pricey and they have a piano/martini bar and a little space to dance in the place as well for a little after dinner mixer.
