Online tutoring is effective as long as you are using the RIGHT tutor. If you go to websites that just give you the answer without showing you how to do the problems, you won't get much out of it.
If you need a tutor, I recommend using Felicity Motivational Group and Tutor.com. Those are the best tutoring companies that I've used.

I haven't paid for any of the on-line tutors, but there's lots of free sites that can help with practicing and learning new skills...depending on the age of the child some are better than others, but here are a few that I've found.........................
