Rate my computer security setup. 1-10?

So what do y'all think?

Running Avast as my anti-virus. Malwarebytes, Spywareblaster, Spybot as my anti-spyware/malware products. I also am running Comodo Firewall, with the Safesurfer toolbar in IE7. Also I have keyscrambler in IE7 and I ALWAYS run IE7 inside Sandboxie. In case your wondering I have the same setup in Firefox with sandboxie and stuff. I just thought I would mention the IE7 setup first because as we all know its more vulnerable. So ratings...1-10?

9 - Avast and Comodo are very good choices as is Malwarebytes, I just use a limited account in XP but running inside a sandboxie is even safer.

That's the best possible security you can possibly get up to with free software. Just stop using IE7 at all, use only Firefox. And if you using Vista, make sure its on Service Pack 1, or if still using XP make sure its using Service Pack 3. Turn On automatic updates too.

But, it's not as good as the paid software, as they have a lot more features with a lot less different programs, thus easier to manage etc. (Not all paid software is good, some are just horrible i wouldn't use even if it was free. Check reviews and tests before choosing).

    TOTAL RATING : 8/10

If you're cautious surfer and avoid suspicious adult/poker websites, no P2P networks and the like - you're pretty well armed.

avast! is a good thing no matter what different reviewers tell you. Bear in mind that ESET will throw up reports where NOD32 is the best, F-Secure will always be #1 in its comparison tests, and so on.

Malwarebyte's (if you have a paid version with real-time protection) is an excellent add-on.

Do you need anything else? Nope.

My rating: 8/10 (9/10 in case your copy of MBAM is an active scanner).

Don't get too paranoid about PC security. Software only helps to avoid troubles.
