why tuberculosis in children is not communicable?

i am a 2nd year nursing student.

and i don't know why tuberculosis in children is not communicable.

please help.

    tuberculosis is communicable even in children.

    age is not a factor on having TB, well, actually it does,

    specially in geriatric patients which have a decreased immune

    system. but you get the point, you can have TB whatever your

    age is.
