Try the Gemma Dolye series. The first book is called A Great and Terrible Beauty. It is about a girl living in the1890's. Her mother dies and she goes to a finishing school in England and discovers that she has powers to enter this dream world called the realms........Also try the Vampire Academy series. It's sort of different from the twilight series but it is still good........Also Also try the Inkheart series. Even if the movie sucks the books are still good
