MRI study of head without contrast enhancement shows:
1.Normal size of bilateral brain sulci, fissures and cisterns. The ventricular system is not dilated.
2.There is a small oval hyperintense area about 1.5x1x1 cm in size over left posterior corona radiata on T2WI and FLAIR images. It is hypointense on T1WI. In favor of lacunar infarction.
3.Otherwise, no definite space-talking lesion can be identified in the study.
4.The three-dimensional MRA study reveals no definite arterial stenosis or other vascuarl abnormality.
A left posterior corona radiata lesion, suspect lacunar infarction . Suggest clinical correlation and follow up.
