Which of those USA states are best for an exchange student?

which states are best in terms of a freindly enviroment, activities, low crime rate etc..

I should apply to 9 of those universities in order of prefrence

    i can tell you from the states i have lived in mark off both for the state of georgia..valdosta may be a bigger city but there is nothing to do there unless you like to drink alot..and plan to major in it

    the university of kentucky is a great school as are the schools in north carolina and i know about south carolina its a great school as are the schools in tennessee utah..unless you are really religious and i mean mormon i wouldnt bother going there...

    I like Missouri State. They have a nice sized campus. Big enough for lots of class options but not so big you get lost. My grandparents have had several exchange students who went there. Also the city that it is in (Springfield) is amazing. I live here and love it. Very nice community!
