The top 5 teams as of right now are: 1. L.A. Lakers - They have the best overall team, 7-1 best record and Kobe is on a slump yet they are still that good. 2. Boston Celtics - They show no signs of age, may not be as good as the Lakers but 9-2 good enough for second. 3. Detroit Pistons - The young guys on the Pistons are playing great, the AI experiment has been a success so far. They are the only team to beat L. A this season. 4. Cleveland Cavaliers - They are riding a 7 game win streak right now. 5. Houston Rockets - They've won their last 2 games and they have one of the most productive benches.
