I chuck it off to folks being proud of their heritage. Perhaps you have some outward symbol of your heritage? I do. My family comes to USA from Yugoslavia ( fmr. ) & I still have quarks & colors that symbolize who I am & where I came from. There was ( is ) turmoil in the former Yugoslav, over politics, and heritage ( Serb, Croat, Chet, and on & on ). I think it is good to be proud of who you are & where you have come from. God Bless you.

That flag also represents southern pride.

I don't fly one but i know most people who still do aren't racist
