Goods are things you can pick up and hold, sell, trade... actual objects. Think bananas, bicycles, lamps, cars. In marketing goods, you focus on aspects of the product: durability, materials, benefits and uses.

Services are things that you do for people. This includes bartending, accounting, practicing medicine. You usually market experience, expertise, and service for these.
