    "Influence" and "appeal" can be used as verbs or nouns, so without knowing your intended context one could spend an hour listing synonyms of each part of speech. I suggest you run down to your nearest bookstore and buy a copy of Roget's Thesaurus. With that at your fingertips, you'll never again be lost for the best word to use in any situation.

    There are other thesauruses, but none of them compare with Roget's, the original and best!

    all of the above are great answers! What you need is a dictionary/thesaurus. Here's a site that you can simply bookmark, and when you need a word or definition, just look it up easily. The site is free, simple to use and safe from viruses etc. Have fun!
