Video Editing Software Mac OSX?

Hey I make youtube videos, and currently what i use to edit my videos is imovie 08, but it just doesn't cut it.

so does anyone know of any good video editing software for mac that is cheap (around $50-100)

the problem i have with imovie is that its easy to use and intuitive, but i doesn't have any video effects, barely any transitions or anything else in it.

What I'm looking for is a few steps above imovie but a a few steps below Final Cut Pro because that is too expensive.

Thx.

You may try this all-in-one mac media pack, it can rip and copy DVD, edit and cut video, even burn video to DVD. it supports youtube flv video. My friends recommend it to me, it works pretty well. And here is the download link

It looks like others have some good suggestions (certainly something like Videator looks good, I hadn't heard of it before). But you might also consider Apple's own Final Cut Express. Not as full featured as Final Cut Pro/Final Cut Studio, but still much higher end than iMovie, and a lot less than full Final Cut Studio.

My personal favorite is Videator. Check it out at http://www.stone.com/Videator/Features.html . It is normally $99 but is on sale for $49. There is a free demo so you can give it a spin without spending a dime. Should you buy it, future upgrades are free, forever. Or at least as long as the company or the product is still around, but it's still a good deal.
