in the way of....and of.... : 以...及...的方式

後面列了兩個方式:

1. industry achievement → 應更正為 industrial achievement

2. recognition in the world → 為了與第1項相稱, 建議改為 worldwide recognition.

修改後:

This patented product caused a revolution in the way of industrial achievement and of worldwide recognition.

此專利產品以工業上的成就及世界性的認可之方式引發了一項革命.

造成災害..造成傷害這些

革命性的里程...其實在中文就怪怪的(里程跟革命的關係?)

英文當然也翻不出來

achievement看來是中文的里程...其實名詞的英文意思是目標

動詞是達到..也就是達程的某個目標(n.)..或是完成的結果

recognition在中文翻譯看來是認識認可

其實在英文裡recognize通常用在辨識..認出..認得這些意思

和認證..認可的意思完全不同...認證認可的正式英文都是用approve

中翻英時要用英文的思考模式來想

如果用中文直接字對字翻譯很容易就變成中式英文囉
